Dr Bhargav Teja Trust

Invocation

Sri Avinash K. Malhotra stood as an embodiment of love, affection, and deeply rooted human values—expressed with rare tenderness in everyday life. In an age when many forget even a weekly call to their parents, he remained unwavering in his emotional presence, never letting a week pass without a heartfelt, reassuring call filled with warmth and care.

To sustain such a relationship for decades with the same tone, texture, and sincerity is almost impossible—yet Sri Avinash remained “rare among the rare,” standing by Dr. Teja until just a week before we lost him.

We also place on record our sincere gratitude to Sri Srinivas Raju, IAS (Advisor to the Government of Telangana), Sri B. V. Ramana Kumar, IPS (Retd.), and Sri G. L. N. Sastri of Tirupati, Sri Ram Tulluri Shris Infotech and Team who stood with Dr. Teja in his ceremonial farewell and with all of us in our deepest grief.

Turning Memory Into Purpose

The Dasu’s Balijepalli Trust is a vessel of remembrance and renewal, born from love and shaped by loss. It safeguards Dr. Bhargava Teja’s luminous journey—not as a closed chapter, but as a living legacy that continues to breathe through knowledge, culture, and service. With every archive preserved and every value shared, the Trust turns grief into purpose, and memory into a gift for generations yet to come.

A Cultural Lighthouse for Tomorrow

The Trust envisions itself as a cultural lighthouse for the future—steady, compassionate, and illuminating. In a world rushing forward, it offers a rooted compass, drawing strength from cinema, heritage, and scholarship to guide young minds toward balance, ethics, and hope. This vision is not merely to preserve the past, but to let its wisdom light the way ahead.

Dr. Bhargava Teja Balijepalli – A Journey of Brilliance

As a teenager, when most children were still exploring their dreams, Dr. Bhargava Teja was chasing history. His mission was extraordinary: to design and develop a living biography of Telugu cinema, stitched together from the breath of newspapers and the memories of release days.

The Legacy of Dasu’s Balijepalli

Dasu’s Balijepalli is a confluence of two luminous lineages. From the Dasu family arise traditions of poetry, philosophy, and humane social vision, shaped by Dasu Sriramulu and Smt. Ongole Savitri of Vijayawada, whose nine children stand remembered as cherished Navaratnas. From Bethavolu, Gudivada, the Balijepalli family’s legacy of learning, service, and integrity flourished through Sri Narasimham, Smt. Venkayamma, Sri Dakshinamurthi, the eminent educationist and Smt. Sitharavamma. Together, these families offer a living heritage that continues to inspire purpose, compassion, and enlightened progress.
